Job Context: The Unit Sales Manager profitably grows the sales volume of the unit through developing customer agreements and management of sales operations in the assigned geographical territory

Key Accountabilities 

  • Cascade annual targets to territories, review achievements weekly, and adjust objectives based on actual sales data
  • Obtain approval for credit limit needs to facilitate plan achievement.
  • Build relationships with key customers, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to pricing strategy.
  • Prepare and obtain approvals for monthly Sales Development Objectives (SDOs) within the unit.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities, and address issues with Territory Development Supervisors.
  • Manage cooler distribution and ensure compliance with Customer Development Agreements (CDAs).
  • Conduct quarterly routing to optimize productivity and customer service.
  • Perform market visits, spot checks, and report competitor activities to coordinate corrective measures.
  • Participate in project implementations for continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop subordinates to meet business objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in FMCG with 3 years in a Supervisory position with a distribution background.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • Very good communication skills
