The Treasury Manager will lead the treasury function, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity planning, banking operations, funding, and working capital optimization across a fast-growing telecom infrastructure and EPC environment. The role requires a hands-on treasury professional capable of strengthening treasury controls, optimizing cash utilization, managing banking relationships, and providing accurate liquidity visibility to support business growth and executive decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead the overall treasury operations, ensuring effective management of daily cash positions, liquidity, banking activities, and funding requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts, ensuring accurate visibility of liquidity requirements and funding gaps.
  • Monitor cash balances, inflows, outflows, collections, payments, and working capital movements across the business and projects.
  • Manage and optimize banking relationships, including account management, bank facilities, guarantees, letters of credit, financing arrangements, and other banking services.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely recording of all treasury and banking transactions.
  • Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity plans aligned with business growth, project requirements, and investment plans.
  • Monitor working capital performance, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, supplier payments, and project cash cycles, and recommend actions to improve cash conversion.
  • Manage treasury requirements related to telecom infrastructure and EPC projects, including project-related guarantees, retention, advance payments, milestone collections, and payment obligations.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Project Management, and senior management teams to ensure effective cash planning and working capital management.
  • Monitor and manage bank guarantees, performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, letters of credit, and other financial instruments, ensuring timely issuance, renewal, amendment, and release.
  • Evaluate financing and funding requirements and coordinate with banks and financial institutions to secure appropriate facilities and competitive banking terms.
  • Monitor interest rates, financing costs, bank charges, and other treasury-related expenses, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure accurate and timely treasury reporting, including cash position, liquidity forecasts, bank exposure, debt/facility utilization, guarantees, and working capital dashboards.
  • Support external audits, due diligence, financing transactions, and investment-related initiatives from a treasury perspective.
  • Drive treasury automation and ERP optimization initiatives, preferably through Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/TMS platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional certification is mandatory: CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in in Treasury, Cash Management.
  • Strong experience within telecom, EPC, infrastructure, construction, or project-driven environments.
  • Proven expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and banking operations.
  • Strong experience managing banking relationships, credit facilities, guarantees, letters of credit, and financing arrangements.
  • Strong understanding of project-related cash flows, including milestone billing, collections, retention, advance payments, and supplier/subcontractor payment cycles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Strong financial modeling and cash flow forecasting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to establish treasury processes, controls, policies, and reporting structures in lean, high-growth, or investment-backed organizations.
  • Strong leadership presence with directive and developmental management capability.
  • Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and lead through change in fast-paced environments.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and execution discipline.
