As an Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical systems by overseeing testing, commissioning, and quality assurance activities. You will be responsible for verifying that installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements, while coordinating closely with project teams and stakeholders to achieve timely handover.
Plan, execute, and supervise testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems, including HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, protection relays, generators, and SCADA systems.
Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance during commissioning stages.
Conduct functional, performance, and safety tests on installed electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during testing and commissioning.
Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and as-built records for client submission.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems within power, utility, or infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with protection relays, substation equipment, and power distribution systems.
Strong knowledge of international standards and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements
