Key Accountabilities 

As a Technical Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of our construction projects. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate closely with the project management team to develop comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Utilize your expertise in AutoCAD and Revit software to generate technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project designs and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to building codes and regulations.
  • Facilitate the procurement of construction materials and equipment, ensuring their timely availability at the job site.
  • Maintain meticulous records of project progress, encompassing daily reports, material quantities, and cost estimates.
  • Orchestrate seamless coordination with subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to address technical challenges and uphold project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, evaluate quality, and enforce safety standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and updating of project documentation, including as-built drawings, change orders, and project closure reports.
  • Spearhead value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs while upholding exceptional quality standards.
  • Offer innovative solutions to tackle technical challenges and enhance overall project efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in technical office engineering within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software for creating technical drawings and 3D models.
  • A robust understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • The ability to work independently and efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage project documentation and records.
  • A commitment to upholding safety protocols and maintaining a secure work environment.
