As a Senior Project Manager – Road and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading and delivering large-scale civil construction projects from initiation through completion. The role requires full ownership of project execution, ensuring compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, contractual obligations, and client expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, construction, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure full technical and contractual compliance.
- Prepare, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, manpower, and resources.
- Lead site teams and enforce strict adherence to HSE and quality standards.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain progress and cost control.
- Review and approve technical submittals, material approvals, and progress reports.
- Chair project meetings and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 18 years of experience in road and infrastructure construction projects.
- Previous experience in the UAE or other GCC countries is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete and foundation design, soil improvement, cable trenching, water-proofing, and substation building works.
- Familiarity with relevant standards (ACI, BS, ASTM, IEC).
- PMP or construction management certification is an advantage.
- Solid leadership, delegation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
