As a Senior Planning Engineer – Road & Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and contractual compliance. The role requires strong command of project planning, risk management, claims support, and coordination with project, commercial, and site teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Developing detailed baseline project schedules in line with contract documents and approved schedule management plans.
- Performing resource loading and resource leveling to optimize manpower and equipment utilization.
- Monitoring project progress, updating schedules, tracking productivity, and controlling cash flow through cost-loaded programs.
- Preparing recovery schedules and mitigation plans to address delays and performance gaps.
- Supporting the Project Manager in identifying critical paths, schedule risks, delays, and key deliverables.
- Identifying planning and execution risks and contributing to risk mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Coordinating closely with the Commercial Team to align procurement plans, financial forecasts, and payment milestones.
- Supporting and managing claims related to variations, extensions of time (EOT), and late payments in accordance with FIDIC conditions.
- Guiding, mentoring, and supervising Planning Engineers to ensure consistency and quality of planning outputs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in planning roles within road and infrastructure construction projects.
- Strong expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and progress monitoring.
- Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts, claims management, and delay analysis.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Office, and planning control tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Proven leadership capability with the ability to guide and manage planning teams.
- Fluency in English .
