The Senior Electrical Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process of all electrical materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required for residential construction projects. The role ensures cost efficiency, technical compliance, timely delivery, and alignment with project specifications and construction schedules.

Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Lead procurement of electrical materials and equipment for residential construction projects.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality compliance.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure correct material selection.
- Manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery and avoid project delays.
- Control procurement budgets and support value engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate with site, technical office, and project teams for material requirements.
- Maintain supplier database and monitor vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports and updates for management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- 5+ years of experience in procurement within construction or real estate development projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power distribution, ELV systems is a plus).
- Experience in residential projects (villas, compounds, or high-rise residential developments).
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation and procurement budgeting.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously.
