The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial and management reporting, cost accounting across multiple business lines, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting consolidated reporting. The role requires strong experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and ERP-based reporting.

Key Accountabilities
- Prepare monthly financial and management reporting packs for Group companies.
- Ensure financial reports are fully reconciled with the General Ledger.
- Perform variance analysis against budgets and prior periods.
- Prepare profitability analysis by business line, site, customer, route, and product.
- Handle intercompany reconciliations and eliminations for consolidated reporting.
- Develop and maintain costing models for mining, manufacturing, transport, and workshop operations.
- Calculate cost per tonne, transport unit costs, and workshop work-order costs.
- Support factory cost reports, inventory valuation, cost allocations, and unabsorbed costs.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Maintain accurate analytic dimensions and develop ERP-based reporting models.
- Support annual financial statements and external audit requirements.
- Provide costing analysis to support pricing and tender decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a recognized university.
- 5–6 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in Cost Accounting and Management Reporting.
- Experience in Mining, Quarrying, Manufacturing, Transport, or Workshop operations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Cost Accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and Financial Modelling.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and analytic accounting reports.
- Experience in multi-company groups and consolidated financial statements is preferred.
- Experience with Odoo, Power BI, or SQL is an advantage.
- Experience participating in an ERP implementation is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Eligibility for professional registration with SOCPA.
- CMA, ACCA, CPA, or SOCPA qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred.
- Strong analytical, reporting, costing, and problem-solving skills.
