The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, expanding market share, managing key accounts and distribution channels, and delivering revenue and profitability targets. The role requires a strong commercial leader with deep experience in paints, coatings, construction materials or a related industry.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy in line with business objectives.
- Deliver revenue, volume, margin and market-share targets.
- Lead and develop regional sales managers, key-account teams and channel-sales teams.
- Expand business across retail, wholesale, project, contractor and industrial channels.
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, consultants, contractors and major customers.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments and geographic areas.
- Improve pricing, product mix, sales forecasting and customer profitability.
- Lead major commercial negotiations and strategic customer agreements.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, supply chain and finance teams.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements.
- Establish clear sales targets, performance indicators and incentive plans.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 12 years of sales experience, including senior leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience in paints, coatings, construction chemicals, building materials or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi and GCC markets.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Experience managing distributors, dealers, key accounts and project sales.
- Strong leadership, negotiation and commercial-planning skills.
- Fluency in Arabic & English
