The Regional Sales Manager will lead a dynamic team of area managers and help the company surpass their growth goals. He will be responsible for developing and leading a high-performing team to meet and exceed sales goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive, manage and execute the business and revenue of the sales team.
- Analyze market dynamics to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities.
- Prepare forecasts, territory management, and growth plans.
- Educate the team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing.
- Establish and report on metrics to measure the team's performance and correct deficiencies where necessary.
- Ensure that the sales plan is aligned with and supports the corporate revenue goal.
- Manage a team of 3 to 5 Area Managers and foster a successful and positive team environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in Retail sales, operations, and leadership.
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding performance objectives, such as revenue targets.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Strong ability to exercise sound judgment, adaptability, and creativity in response to changing needs and situations
- Strong ability to manage a fast-paced environment and demanding workload.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation abilities, with executive-level communication skills (both written and verbal), and a proven ability to mentor others.
