This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager to play a key role in managing purchasing operations, optimizing costs, and ensuring the timely availability of materials and services.
The Purchasing Manager will oversee the full purchasing cycle, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal departments to support smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Job Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s operational goals and budget requirements.
- Manage the full purchasing cycle, from identifying needs and sourcing suppliers to negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Negotiate contracts, payment terms, pricing, and supply agreements to achieve the best value for the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure purchasing activities support business needs.
- Analyze purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, supplier databases, and documentation.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are looking for :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a must.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, cost control, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
