Work Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
As a Production Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting operational and financial efficiency by analyzing, controlling, and optimizing production costs. You will be responsible for accurate cost allocation, supporting pricing strategies, and contributing to overall production planning and financial performance.
Cost Analysis & Reporting
Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reports.
Monitor and report on material, labor, and overhead variances.
Maintain and update standard cost systems.
Inventory & Production Accounting
Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation.
Track production costs and ensure accurate recording of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods.
Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize cost efficiency.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations.
Provide cost projections for new products, process changes, and production expansions.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with internal controls, SFDA requirements, and accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits with relevant cost data and documentation.
Process Improvement
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency enhancements.
Implement cost control measures across production lines.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in pharmaceutical or medical consumables production is a must.
Familiarity with production planning tools (SAP PP, MRP systems) and data analytics tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SFDA regulations, NUPCO processes, and GMP compliance is a plus.
Excellent bilingual communication skills (Arabic/English).
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and cost management tools.
Strong time management and attention to detail.
