The Product Manager will lead the development and management of innovative digital and service products that enhance the visa and travel experience for millions of customers. The role will drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement, focusing on digital platforms, identity solutions, and operational services that align with the organizations strategic objectives and Saudi Vision 2030.
Key Accountabilities
Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital and service products across visa processing, identity verification, travel solutions, and customer experience.
Manage the full product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to development, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring products meet market needs and business goals.
Lead the development of digital platforms, including the e-visa application portal, appointment scheduling systems, payment gateways, and customer tracking solutions.
Drive innovation in identity and consular services, including biometric solutions, digital identity verification, and secure document processing.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, technology partners, operations teams, and senior leadership to align product priorities with organizational objectives.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing offerings.
Define and track key product metrics such as application completion rates, customer satisfaction, processing time, and conversion rates to measure success and inform data-driven decisions.
Create and maintain detailed product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Work closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams using Agile methodologies to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
Manage product budgets, pricing strategies, and revenue models to ensure financial viability and profitability of product lines.
Ensure all products comply with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and government policies related to visa and identity services.
Lead go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, training, and launch plans in coordination with marketing and operations teams.
Champion the customer experience, ensuring products are user-friendly, accessible, and meet the needs of diverse customer segments including pilgrims, tourists, business travelers, and expatriates.
Monitor product performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and implement continuous improvements to enhance value and customer satisfaction.
Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or Masters degree in a relevant discipline is highly preferred.
12-15 years of overall experience in product management, digital product development, or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior product management role.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products, preferably in government services, visa services, travel, aviation, identity solutions, fintech, or customer service platforms.
Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha, or Productboard.
Deep understanding of user experience design principles, customer journey mapping, and user-centered design processes.
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable product insights and strategic decisions.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi and regional market, including customer behavior, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics in the visa and travel sector.
Experience in both B2C and B2B product management, including working with enterprise clients, government entities, and end-users.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority, including engineering, design, operations, marketing, and sales.
