The Product & Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new products, conducting market insights and analysis, and establishing strategic partnerships, while working closely with R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure successful product development and market entry.
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new product opportunities and unmet clinical needs in Saudi Arabia.
Lead product development initiatives in coordination with R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams.
Translate market insights into actionable product strategies and portfolio expansion plans.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturing partners to enhance product offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, principals, and international manufacturers.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance) for successful product launches.
Monitor product and business development KPIs, opportunity pipelines, and performance metrics.
Represent the company in supplier meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Leverage established relationships with NUPCO, government authorities, hospitals, and distributors to support tenders, product listings, and long-term contracts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 10+ years of experience in product development, market insights, or business development within the medical devices industry.
Proven experience in product strategy, supplier management, and R&D coordination.
Strong understanding of the Saudi healthcare market, medical device regulations, and procurement processes including NUPCO.
Demonstrated ability to assess market opportunities and convert insights into viable products.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
