The Senior Civil Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for all civil works, materials, and subcontract packages within residential construction projects. The role ensures cost efficiency, timely delivery, compliance with project specifications, and alignment with construction schedules and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Manage procurement activities for all civil materials (concrete, steel, blocks, finishing materials, etc.) and subcontract works
- Prepare and review technical and commercial bid evaluations for civil packages
- Source, prequalify, and manage suppliers and subcontractors
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms to ensure cost optimization
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, and site teams to forecast material requirements
- Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and construction schedules
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and alternative materials for cost-saving opportunities
- Issue purchase orders and ensure compliance with contractual terms
- Track delivery schedules and resolve supply chain delays
- Ensure all materials comply with project specifications and quality standards
- Maintain procurement records, reports, and supplier performance evaluations
- Support value engineering initiatives and cost reduction strategies
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
- 6+ years of experience in procurement within construction companies
- Strong experience in residential building projects is preferred
- Solid knowledge of civil construction materials, specifications, and market pricing
- Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is an advantage
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project demands
- Strong coordination skills with site and project teams
