As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise customers by designing, positioning, and presenting innovative software solutions that address complex business challenges. Working closely with Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams, you will translate customer requirements into compelling solution proposals, presentations, and technical recommendations while ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical feasibility, and commercial value.
Key Accountabilities
- Engage with enterprise customers to understand business requirements and recommend suitable Microsoft-based software solutions.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact customer presentations, executive briefings, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.
- Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, solution proposals, architecture overviews, and customer-facing documentation.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the complete pre-sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission and customer presentations.
- Analyze customer business processes and align them with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related enterprise solutions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Delivery teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure solution alignment.
- Contribute to technical proposals, RFP responses, compliance matrices, and customer documentation.
- Support solution design covering cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment models.
- Assist in defining system integration approaches using APIs, middleware, and enterprise service architectures.
- Provide guidance on security principles, access management, and enterprise architecture best practices.
- Support high-level effort estimation, pricing inputs, and commercial solution discussions.
- Identify opportunities for phased implementations, cross-selling, and upselling additional business solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with business, technical, and executive stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.
- Stay current with Microsoft Business Applications, digital transformation trends, and enterprise software technologies
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, Technical Consulting, or Solution Engineering.
- Strong experience delivering customer presentations, executive briefings, and solution demonstrations.
- Excellent PowerPoint design and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers or regulated industries such as Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and enterprise business applications.
- Knowledge of cloud computing, hybrid environments, enterprise architecture, and system integration concepts.
- Familiarity with APIs, middleware technologies, and service-oriented architectures.
- Understanding of security principles, identity management, and enterprise access control.
- Experience preparing RFP responses, technical proposals, compliance documents, and customer solution documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Technical, and Delivery teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
- Ability to balance business requirements with technical feasibility and commercial objectives.
