The PMO Director will lead the Project Management Office function and drive the successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives across the retail organization. The role is responsible for establishing project governance, managing cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment between business objectives and project delivery, and providing executive leadership with visibility into project performance, risks, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) across the organization.
- Establish project governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of strategic and operational projects.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate business strategy into actionable programs and initiatives.
- Manage a portfolio of projects across retail operations, e-commerce, supply chain, commercial, technology, and support functions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, presentations, and performance metrics for senior leadership and board-level reviews.
- Facilitate executive steering committees, project review meetings, and governance forums.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment between business units and project teams.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Lead change management initiatives and support organizational transformation programs.
- Manage PMO budgets, resource planning, and project prioritization activities.
- Coach and develop project managers and PMO team members to enhance project delivery capabilities.
- Ensure continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
- Support business expansion, digital transformation, omnichannel, and operational excellence initiatives within the retail environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale cross-functional programs.
- Proven experience leading a PMO function within the retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or consumer-focused industry.
- Strong experience managing enterprise-wide transformation, operational improvement, and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with CEOs, C-level executives, and senior leadership teams.
- Extensive experience in project governance, portfolio management, and executive reporting.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and project management tools.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
