As a Planning Engineer – Road & Infrastructure, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with contractual requirements. The role requires strong hands-on experience in project planning, progress tracking, cash flow forecasting, and resource management, supporting project and commercial teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Accountabilities
- Developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 in line with project scope and execution strategy.
- Preparing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for accurate progress measurement, scheduling, cost estimation, and project control.
- Monitoring project progress and preparing S-curves, KPIs, resource histograms, and cash flow charts in accordance with client reporting requirements.
- Preparing and updating project cash flow statements and supporting financial forecasting activities.
- Planning and monitoring manpower deployment and resource allocation to support project timelines and productivity targets.
- Coordinating with project managers, site teams, and commercial teams to ensure alignment between planning, execution, and cost control.
- Identifying schedule risks, delays, and variances, and supporting corrective and mitigation actions to maintain project milestones.
- Providing regular planning reports and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer within road and infrastructure construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office applications.
- Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling techniques, and performance measurement tools.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English.
