The Operations Manager will lead the end-to-end setup and operational management of the new branch, overseeing teams across procurement, finance, and administration, This role requires strategic coordination with Head Office, ensuring legal and financial compliance, driving cost efficiency, and representing the company in stakeholder engagements.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the full setup of the new branch (office, systems, staffing, vendors).
- Coordinate with Head Office on approvals, budgets, and timelines.
- Ensure all legal, operational, and administrative requirements are completed.
- Oversee daily branch operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Monitor performance and productivity across all functions.
- Manage and supervise procurement engineers, finance staff, and admin team.
- Set KPIs and monitor team performance.
- Coach, develop, and support employees.
- Supervise purchasing activities and vendor management.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement aligned with company standards
- Approve purchase requests and monitor supplier performance.
- Work closely with the finance team on budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
- Monitor branch expenses and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in operations / branch management.
- Experience in construction or industrial sector is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing multi-functional teams (procurement, finance, admin).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus)
