The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s operations desk, ensuring accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong leadership to supervise staff, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency across all investment and trading activities.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Transaction & Reconciliation Management: Oversee daily financial transactions (trades, settlements, payments) and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and bank ledgers.

• Client Reporting & Support: Deliver accurate portfolio statements and transaction confirmations, while efficiently resolving client inquiries.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the operations staff to maintain high performance and accuracy standards.

• Process Optimization: Develop and streamline operational workflows, procedures, and KPIs to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.

• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulations, while preparing documentation for operational audits.

• Risk & Control Management: Identify operational risks and implement robust controls to prevent errors, fraud, or financial losses.

• Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with Trading, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure smooth and integrated end-to-end operational workflows.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in Investment, Wealth Management, or Trading operations.

• Proven track record of managing and leading a small operations team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (ACCA, CPA, or CFA is a plus).

• Deep understanding of financial operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, and proficiency in financial software.

• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements within the UAE financial markets.

• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail, strong team management abilities, and the capacity to handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
