As a Medical Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the medical insurance portfolio, ensuring high client satisfaction, maximizing policy renewals, and driving customer retention. The role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, overseeing service quality, and collaborating with internal departments to deliver exceptional customer experience while supporting the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Manage and oversee the renewal process for corporate and individual medical insurance accounts to achieve renewal and retention targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all service-related matters.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement strategies to enhance client experience and long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, provider relations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Analyze portfolio performance, renewal ratios, loss ratios, and customer retention metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Negotiate renewal terms, benefits, and pricing structures with clients while maintaining profitability objectives.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and service challenges promptly to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi insurance regulations, CCHI requirements, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Prepare regular management reports on renewals, retention, customer service performance, and portfolio growth.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the medical insurance account management and customer service team to achieve departmental objectives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in medical insurance, account management, client servicing, or customer relationship management within the insurance sector.
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance products, CCHI regulations, and the Saudi healthcare insurance market.
- Proven track record in managing renewals, customer retention, and client relationship management.
- Experience handling corporate accounts and negotiating renewal agreements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities in both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret portfolio and retention data.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service excellence and long-term client satisfaction.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet challenging targets and deadlines.
