The Legal Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and advice to the company, with a particular focus on the logistics and transportation sector. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing legal disputes and litigation, ensuring compliance with applicable Saudi laws and regulations, and providing legal support to internal stakeholders to protect the company's legal and commercial interests.
Key Accountabilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, particularly logistics, transportation, warehousing, supplier, and customer agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support to various business departments on contractual, commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
- Represent the company and manage legal cases before courts, judicial, and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Prepare and review legal memoranda, pleadings, responses, objections, and other legal documents.
- Manage legal disputes and litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution and closure.
- Handle financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes, and legal settlements.
- Review legal violations and complaints and conduct internal investigations when required.
- Provide legal recommendations and risk assessments related to disputes, claims, contracts, and business operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi laws, regulations, and legal requirements relevant to the logistics and transportation sector.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the company's operations and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Manage cases and legal proceedings through the Najiz platform and other relevant government platforms.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and other relevant parties when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, legal cases, claims, disputes, and other legal documentation.
- Prepare periodic legal reports covering contract status, litigation matters, legal risks, claims, and ongoing cases.
- Support management in identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across the business.
- Ensure proper legal documentation and compliance practices are maintained across the company's operations

Knowledge , Skills , Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Strong experience in contract drafting and review, litigation, legal case management, and dispute resolution.
- Good knowledge of Saudi laws and regulations, particularly the Land Transport Law, Civil Transactions Law, Commercial Courts Law, Evidence Law, Enforcement Law, and Labor Law.
- Hands-on experience with the Najiz platform and relevant government platforms.
- Experience handling financial claims, enforcement proceedings, promissory notes, and legal settlements.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English, particularly for contracts and legal correspondence.
- A valid Saudi legal practice license is a plus
