We are seeking an experienced Lead Hand for a well known Saudi Group operating across 14 sectors, including heavy machinery, industrial manufacturing, energy & utilities, financial services, , transport, and hospitality.

 The Lead Hand will be responsible for organizing the workflow within their subsection to maintain and enhance operational efficiency, ensuring that the service standards and project timelines are met within the Service Department. 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Assist the Service Supervisor in managing the section and act as the Supervisor in their absence.
  • Directly supervises Mechanics and Helpers within the subsection.
  • Provide assistance in identifying and resolving operational issues within the section.
  • Accurately evaluate the reusability of parts and prepare detailed service quotations.
  • Guarantee that all repairs at the sub-station meet the highest quality standards.
  • Utilize the SIS system to compile necessary parts lists for projects.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive Technical Analysis and Service Reports.
  • Actively engage in the training of subordinates and be open to receiving training in coaching and assessment techniques.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

  • A Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at a Caterpillar dealership, including at least 2 years  as a Senior Mechanic in the Service Department.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of SIS system for parts management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on report writing and training.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
