The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies that expand the company’s presence within the hospitality and Hajj and Umrah sectors. The role will identify new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, manage key stakeholder relationships, prepare feasibility studies and investment proposals, and support organizational efficiency and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and growth plans.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the hospitality, Hajj, Umrah, and pilgrim-services sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, hotel operators, investors, property owners, service providers, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and commercial agreements that support business expansion.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to assess potential opportunities and market trends.
- Prepare business proposals, investment cases, presentations, and commercial recommendations for senior management.
- Lead negotiations and support the preparation, review, and management of contracts and partnership agreements.
- Manage key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
- Monitor the hospitality market in Makkah and the Holy Sites, including demand patterns, seasonal changes, and Hajj and Umrah operational requirements.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, legal, marketing, and other internal departments to ensure the successful implementation of new opportunities.
- Monitor the performance of business development initiatives and provide regular reports on the opportunity pipeline, partnerships, revenue potential, and achieved results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably within hospitality, hotels, Hajj, Umrah, tourism, or pilgrim services.
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic business development plans.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi hospitality market, particularly Makkah and the Holy Sites.
- Strong understanding of Hajj and Umrah operational cycles, seasonal demand, and pilgrim-service requirements.
- Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Experience managing key accounts and building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience in market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Ability to prepare and present business proposals, commercial plans, and investment cases to senior leadership.
