The General Manager Assistant will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the General Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication across internal and external stakeholders. The role will support executive activities through effective schedule management, documentation, correspondence handling, and follow-up on key business tasks related to the company's mining operations. The successful candidate will contribute to operational efficiency by maintaining high standards of organization, professionalism, confidentiality, and timely execution of assigned responsibilities.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the General Manager's calendar, including meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and scheduling priorities.
- Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the General Manager, ensuring timely and professional correspondence.
- Prepare, organize, and follow up on reports, presentations, meeting minutes, official documents, and business correspondence.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with government authorities, suppliers, business partners, and internal departments.
- Support administrative activities related to mining operations and other company functions.
- Monitor assigned tasks and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and execution.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business information and executive matters.
- Provide executive and administrative support to enhance the efficiency of the General Manager's office operations.
- Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring proper documentation of action items.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of administrative documents and reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 0–3 years of experience in Administration, Executive Assistance, Corporate Support, Mining, Industrial, or related sectors.
- Good command of English (written and spoken) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Chinese language will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain documentation, and track tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive, responsible, and capable of working effectively under the direction of senior management.
- Previous experience within mining, industrial, construction, or corporate environments is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
