The Fit-Out Architectural Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all interior fit-out architectural works across project sites, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role involves close coordination with technical teams, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to support successful project delivery across all interior construction phases.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Supervise daily fit-out architectural works on-site including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, and finishing activities.
- Ensure all interior works are executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, MEP, architectural, and site teams to ensure smooth fit-out sequencing and site readiness.
- Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, manpower productivity, and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure fit-out activities comply with project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and report site progress, finishing quality issues, and construction challenges to site engineers or project management.
- Assist in resolving site-related fit-out and finishing issues to maintain progress targets.
- Supervise subcontractors, skilled workers, and site crews during all interior finishing activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and approved mockups.
- Support project planning and sequencing of interior finishing works.
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of finishing materials.
- Prepare daily site reports and support documentation of fit-out progress and quality control records.
- Participate in snagging, de-snagging, handover, and project close-out activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in interior fit-out and finishing works within construction projects.
- Previous experience in residential, hospitality, or commercial fit-out projects is preferred.
- Strong background in interior finishing works including ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, and joinery.
- Experience working with main contractors or fit-out contractors in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction finishing methods, materials, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with construction sequencing and site coordination processes.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural details.
- Strong supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in fast-paced site environments and manage multiple finishing activities.
