Job Context: working as a Financial Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing accurate and timely financial reports, conducting in-depth analyses of financial data, and providing actionable insights to enhance financial performance.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Preparing and reviewing accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Performing in-depth analysis of financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Developing and maintaining financial reporting models and templates to streamline reporting processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assisting in preparing the annual budget and forecast by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Monitoring and reconciling general ledger accounts, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly.
- Supporting the annual audit process by preparing relevant schedules and documentation.
- Developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- resenting financial reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
- Assisting in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- IFRS Diploma or CFA Level 1 is preferred.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in in financial reporting and analysis.
- Full understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including dashboards, and Power BI.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
