The Finance Manager will lead the finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, operational efficiency, and strategic financial support across a fast-growing telecom infrastructure and EPC environment. The role requires a hands-on finance leader capable of building finance structures, driving transformation, strengthening controls, and supporting executive decision-making in a dynamic, investment-driven business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the overall finance and accounting operations, ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, cash flow reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage project accounting activities including revenue recognition, WIP monitoring, cost allocation, project profitability analysis, and EPC project financial performance tracking.
- Ensure full compliance with ZATCA requirements including VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing, and statutory reporting obligations.
- Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, financial governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, CAPEX monitoring, and commercial finance support for telecom infrastructure projects.
- Drive ERP optimization and automation initiatives, ensuring full utilization of Microsoft Dynamics and improving reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate hands-on mastery of ERP systems with the ability to drive team adoption, process discipline, and reporting enhancement.
- Build and restructure the finance department, including organization design, process enhancement, role alignment, and capability development.
- Lead a structured transformation and restructuring plan for the finance department within the first 90 days.
- Establish scalable finance processes and reporting structures suitable for a lean, high-growth, and investment-backed environment.
- Partner closely with executive management on strategic planning, financial performance, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives.
- Manage treasury activities, banking relationships, working capital, and liquidity planning.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while building a high-performance, accountability-driven finance culture.
- Support external audits, tax reviews, due diligence activities, and investment-related initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification is mandatory: CPA, CMA, ACCA, SOCPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in senior finance leadership roles.
- Strong experience within telecom, EPC, infrastructure, construction, or project-driven environments.
- Proven expertise in project accounting, revenue recognition, financial controls, and IFRS reporting.
- Strong understanding of Saudi VAT, ZATCA regulations, withholding tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience working in lean organizations, high-growth businesses, or investment-backed environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
- Proven capability in building finance structures, implementing processes, and leading finance transformation initiatives from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success in restructuring finance departments and driving operational improvements within tight timelines.
- Strong leadership presence with directive and developmental management capability.
- Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and lead through change in fast-paced environments.
