The Director of Strategic Planning and Project Management will be responsible for leading strategic planning, large-scale program and project management, governance, and performance optimization across all operations. The role plays a strategic part in supporting business growth, optimizing financial and operational performance, maintaining stability, and ensuring the successful coordination and execution of initiatives, with a strong focus on Hajj season procedures, requirements, and corporate governance.
Location: Makkah, Saudi Arabia
Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
Lead major project, program, and portfolio management (PMO) initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to governance frameworks and risk management standards.
Prepare and manage budgets while closely monitoring financial and operational performance.
Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), measure performance, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations through executive and analytical reports.
Coordinate and organize complex plans, operational activities, and initiatives according to Hajj season requirements, timelines, and specialized models.
Drive cross-functional collaboration and leverage project management tools, data analysis, and performance management dashboards.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, General Management, Strategic Planning, Project Management, or a related specialization.
Professional certifications such as PMP or PgMP in strategic planning or performance management are highly preferred.
Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, PMO, and the management of major projects/programs.
Sufficient knowledge of Hajj season procedures, projects, and operational activities, with proven experience in direct management of the Hajj model.
Strong expertise in budget preparation, operational performance monitoring, KPI identification, project governance, and risk management.
Exceptional executive leadership capability in preparing analytical reports, stakeholder management, and driving high-performing cross-functional teams.
