Work Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

The Director of Shareholder Affairs will manage shareholder relations, ensuring transparent communication, handling inquiries, and coordinating shareholder meetings and reports to enhance investor confidence and support. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with shareholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for annual general meetings and other shareholder meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the distribution of dividends and other shareholder communications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance shareholder engagement and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and disseminate accurate and timely reports on company performance and shareholder interests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for shareholder issues and facilitate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the finance and legal departments to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
  • Monitor market trends and investor sentiment to inform company strategy.
  • Manage shareholder databases and ensure the integrity of shareholder records.
  • Develop and maintain investor relations programs to communicate the company's financial performance and strategic direction.
  • Organize and conduct investor presentations, roadshows, and conference calls.
  • Monitor and analyze shareholder voting trends and feedback to inform corporate decisions.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and the board on shareholder issues and market perceptions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in shareholder relations or investor relations, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Previous experience with IPO-listed companies in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with shareholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate large-scale meetings and events.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in using shareholder management software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with market trends and investor sentiment in the retail industry.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic communication plans.
