The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and supporting mechanical designs for wellhead equipment and pressure control products, ensuring compliance with applicable API/ASME standards, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. The role requires hands-on experience in wellhead equipment design, particularly API 6A products, gate valves, and pressure control equipment, with strong knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes.

Key Accountabilities
- Develop and support mechanical designs for wellhead equipment, gate valves, and pressure control equipment.
- Apply API 6A products and relevant API/ASME standards in design and engineering activities.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Support design activities considering machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, materials, and heat treatment requirements.
- Ensure designs meet required dimensional inspection and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and other technical teams to support product development and engineering activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in wellhead equipment design is required.
- Proven experience with gate valves and pressure control equipment.
- Strong practical knowledge of API 6A products and relevant API/ASME standards.
- Experience in Oil & Gas manufacturing or oilfield equipment.
- Good understanding of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, materials, heat treatment, and dimensional inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Hands-on mechanical design experience must be clearly demonstrated in the candidate’s work history.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience at wellhead manufacturers such as SLB, Baker Hughes, or TFMC.
- Good technical documentation and English communication skills.
- Good computer skills, including MS Office.
