As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security solutions to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems to ensure secure user access controls, account provisioning, and de-provisioning.
- Support the enforcement of access policies across the organization’s systems and applications, ensuring that access rights are appropriate and comply with internal security standards.
- Monitor for security threats related to IAM systems, respond to incidents, and collaborate with other teams to implement timely mitigation strategies.
- Work with internal teams (IT, operations, and development) to integrate IAM solutions with other systems and platforms, ensuring seamless user authentication and authorization processes.
- Participate in audits and ensure the organization’s IAM practices align with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Conduct training for internal teams and end-users on best practices for IAM, ensuring everyone is aware of their roles in maintaining security standards.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IAM configurations, security policies, and incident reports. Regularly report on system health, user access status, and potential security risks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of IAM principles and practices.
- Knowledge of access management protocols such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Hands-on experience with IAM tools (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, etc.).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and industry standards.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks related to user access, and troubleshoot IAM-related issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
