The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing production costs, monitoring expenses, and ensuring accurate cost allocation to support financial control, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor production costs, including raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
- Prepare cost reports and analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock movements, and cost allocation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control activities.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost data and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial procedures.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, production costing, and inventory valuation.
- Experience analyzing cost variances, preparing cost reports, and controlling manufacturing expenses.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
