As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing full project lifecycles from planning through execution and delivery. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, and ensure all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Your role is critical in turning plans into reality while upholding operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Managing construction projects from initiation through final delivery.
- Leading and directing site teams including engineers, supervisors, and workers.
- Ensuring project progress aligns with time schedules and budget constraints.
- Overseeing compliance with construction safety and quality standards.
- Coordinating closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to meet technical and contractual requirements.
- Managing daily site operations and resolving any on-site issues that could affect progress.
- Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to ensure practical implementation.
- Reporting regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and required decisions.
- Supporting procurement, quality control, and risk mitigation processes.
- Encouraging teamwork across internal departments: civil, architecture, MEP, procurement, safety, and QA/QC.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
- Additional certifications such as PRMG, Technical Risk Management, and Building on Budget are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in Project Management and Construction Leadership.
- Strong command of construction methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and technical site management.
- Solid understanding of project management principles including quality, risk, and resource management.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- Fluent in English.
