As a Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will lead and oversee the company’s overall operations, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and alignment with strategic objectives. You will play a critical role in driving performance, scaling operations, and enabling sustainable business growth.
Key Accountabilities
The position involves:
- Lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across all functions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s vision and long-term business objectives.
- Drive organizational performance across a business with approximately SAR 300 million turnover, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Oversee cross-functional departments including operations, commercial, finance, and support functions to ensure alignment and synergy.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and operational frameworks to ensure targets are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements and telecommunications industry standards.
- Lead transformation initiatives, process improvements, and digital optimization to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team and board on strategic planning, reporting, and performance reviews.
- Oversee risk management practices to ensure operational stability and business continuity.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high service quality and operational standards.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We are Looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (MBA is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (COO, Operations Director, or equivalent), preferably within telecommunications or large-scale organizations.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale operations and driving business performance.
- Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capabilities.
- Extensive leadership and people management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership and boards.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
