Ensure the implementation of systems, regulations, decisions, and instructions related to financial affairs within the entity, and develop financial strategies in line with set goals and objectives.
Oversee the identification of financial needs, return requirements, and risk appetite levels.
Coordinate with other organizational units to determine their financial needs, monitor expenditure movements, and ensure their recording in accordance with applicable financial rules.
Submit related recommendations to senior management.
Participate in developing the main objectives of the financial department, and develop and implement plans, programs, and projects that contribute to achieving these objectives.
Ensure the existence of frameworks and indicators to accurately measure the achievement levels of these plans and objectives.
Oversee the preparation of financial reports, balance sheets, and the analysis of final accounts.
Organize financial and accounting records and ledgers, ensure the correctness of entries, follow up on their closing, direct subordinate staff, and ensure their compliance with all applicable financial and accounting systems and rules.
Oversee the preparation and compilation of summaries and reports that illustrate overall achievement rates regarding financial revenues, and present them to the relevant authorities.
Requirements
15+ years in finance management.
Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or Area Director of Finance.
Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, yield/revenue management, and cost control within a hospitality context.
Experience managing large, multi-property operational budgets and CapEx projects.
CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification is a Must.
Budget design, development, and monitoring.
Preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.
