Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, expanding the customer portfolio, and developing long-term commercial relationships. The role focuses on increasing revenue, strengthening market presence, and supporting the company's growth strategy across the Saudi market.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
• Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute business development plans aligned with the company's growth objectives and market expansion strategy.
• Client Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure new corporate clients, strategic partners, and business opportunities within the travel and tourism sector.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, government entities, and strategic partners to ensure long-term business success.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging industry trends to uncover new revenue opportunities.
• Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets by preparing commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value business deals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure successful onboarding and delivery of client requirements.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare regular business development reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights for senior management.
• Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, exhibitions, and client meetings to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, with at least 5 in a managerial role. Experience within Travel Solutions, Travel Technology, Tourism, Aviation, Destination Management Companies (DMC), Online Travel Agencies (OTA), Corporate Travel, or Hospitality is highly preferred.
Business Development Expertise: Proven track record in identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving revenue growth.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Saudi travel and tourism industry, corporate sales, strategic partnerships, and customer relationship management.
Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, sales reporting tools, and data analysis.
