The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth through market research, product development initiatives, and strategic partnerships, while expanding the company’s presence across key healthcare channels in Saudi Arabia, including NUPCO, government entities, distributors, hospitals, and suppliers.
Conduct in-depth market research and market analysis to identify new business opportunities, unmet clinical needs, and competitive trends across Saudi Arabia.
Lead and support product development and portfolio expansion initiatives in collaboration with suppliers, regulatory, and internal stakeholders.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturing partners to enhance the company’s product offering.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, principals, and international manufacturers to secure exclusive agreements and favorable commercial terms.
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence and revenue growth.
Leverage established relationships with NUPCO, government authorities, hospitals, and distributors to support tenders, product listings, and long-term contracts.
Analyze pricing, positioning, and competitive landscapes to support go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, regulatory, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure successful product launches and market entry.
Monitor business development KPIs, opportunity pipelines, and performance metrics.
Represent the company in supplier meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, market research, or commercial roles within the medical devices industry.
Proven experience in product development, supplier management, and principal relationships.
Strong understanding of the Saudi healthcare market, medical device regulations, and procurement processes, including NUPCO.
Demonstrated ability to assess market opportunities and translate insights into viable product and business strategies.
Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent in English.
